Spring time in Saskatchewan always carries the promise of miraculous new life. This weekend “rain and snow” are forecast reminding us from Isaiah 55 of the cycle of life beginning, God’s ways that “are far beyond anything you could imagine.” We feel it is very important to share with you the core values of Saskatchewan House Of Prayer so you will know how we walk. We are not building this ministry in the usual way by organizing rallies or having fundraisers but we are sharing our vision face to face and building deep relationships so that we would function like a family. We have not taken offerings or stressed money in any way but now as family we are making our need known. There are only a hand full of us giving of our time, energy and finances. None of us are on a salary, a few of us are living strictly by faith and the Lord has provided. We have now made a more extended committment to travel from town to town and need more resources to pay travel expenses. The driving desire is to see Saskatchewan a habitation for the Lord through united covering prayer. We heard Ritchie Hall, the defensive coach of the Roughriders speak at the Lieutenant Governor Prayer Breakfast of the difference between being on a team and being part of a team. Anyone can be on a team. To be part of a team, there is a personal investment indicating ownership and partnership. If you believe in the core values and the vision of what we are doing, would you consider supporting us monthly? Our vision is to have a Christian Embassy here in the capital city and if you want to contribute to the fund for a house, please designate. We do take VISA and Master Card, or postdated cheques if you prefer. Please take ownership of our province and sow in this fertile ground. Even a one time gift would be appreciated. We do have charitable status and tax receipts will be mailed at year end.
Please inform us of your full name, address, postal code, phone number and email if we do not have it. If you send us your credit card information, please include the name on the card, the number, expiry date and amount of gift.
Thanking you for your love in giving and for your prayers.
For the Love of Saskatchewan,
Patricia Fraser and Team of SHOPCORE VALUES
- individuals to be ‘houses of prayer’ from a place of intimacy with Jesus- to carry a spirit of brokenness and humility, prefering one another
- to walk as one body relating heart to heart
- to gather to wait on the Lord and to hear and discern corporately
- to lay down personal burdens, callings, opinions and agendas
- to please the Lord by not initiating for Him and responding in obedience only when He speaks
- to
posture ourselves to listen and hear, realizing God can speak through anyone- to have the fear of the Lord and not fear of man, yet discerning the body and demonstrating love- to function as servant leaders- to take personal ownership of vision and mandate resulting in committment and the spirit of giving
