Sharing My Heart
There are many people throughout the province of Saskatchewan that have a vision in their hearts, a desire and passion for a House of Prayer. I believe this House is not a vision of just one person but a corporate birthing which results in a corporate owning of a prayer movement to usher in the destiny of what God is doing in this hour. I believe now is the time to see the implementation of such a vision; the Church of Saskatchewan coming into alignment, agreeing together in prayer as a family in love with the Father and with one another.
I personally have had this in my heart for some time but last October, 2006 the Lord released it into my Spirit in a powerful way. I was visited in the night and received a download of Vision, Mandate and Beginning Strategy. Although someone had to put the trumpet to the mouth to assemble the troops, I know many have heard the sound from heaven and are positioned and waiting to be summoned.
The vision has been released in three parts:
1) A hub of communication to connect watchmen and intercessors throughout the province
2) A call to leaders of gates in the province and intercessors to take their place
3) A House or Christian Embassy in our capital city as a place of prayer and witness to the government
Since January 11th, 2007 a team has been gathering and have covenanted to walk with the Holy Spirit as the head and with each other, to wait on the Lord, to hear what is on His heart, and to only do what He asks us to do. The Lord has called us to communicate the vision face to face which is a slower avenue of growth, but definitely more personal as we share heart to heart. We believe many will have vital keys to unlock and help build this virtual House of Prayer to cover the entire province. We have been obedient to walk with the Holy Spirit and do what He has required.
The Lord has kept us hidden for nine months (since the inception, October, 2006). We now are sensing He is sending us out to make the vision known in a more open manner.
Please pray for us specifically:
- that doors will open into every city, town, village and community throughout the province and that God would grant us favour.
- that hearts would be prepared to hear, perceive and respond to the call.
- pray for the individuals travelling, sharing, teaching and releasing intercessors, as well as those involved in every area of administration.
- that a House would be found in Regina and the Church in Saskatchewan would pick up the vision of joint ownership.
- that finances would be released for the House and on going expenses of the Saskatchewan House of Prayer (S.H.O.P).
- please pray for us as the Holy Spirit directs and communicate to us any specific words He may release.

What is Happening?
Government Report
Our mandate is to pray for our government from a non-partisan posture. We recognize the demands on individuals and families of those serving as members of the legislature for there are pressures from every side. We are learning the procedures of government and developing relationship. Our posture is one of listening. Our position is to represent the Father, not our own agenda and to serve those who are in government. Do we as the Church desire to lobby for our personal benefits and interests? Or do we have a bigger perspective that desires our province to come into the fullness of its destiny in every facet?
On April 16, we went to the Saskatchewan legislative assembly to observe from the visitor’s gallery. Only God can arrange circumstances to fit with His plans. We were introduced to our MLAs during a brief meeting in their office. A short time later when legislature had commenced, our MLA introduced us as his new constituents who had moved to Regina as part of a team to establish a House of Prayer to pray for government. The whole legislature applauded and welcomed us. Since then someone from the Saskatchewan House of Prayer attempted to be in attendance for every sitting until it adjourned May 17th. It was during these weeks certain MLAs looked for our presence and would often greet us.
Following the adjournment of the spring legislature we had the opportunity to speak with a dozen members of our government in the cafeteria. One MLA apologized for the contentious conduct in the assembly. Another asked us not to forget them and their families over the summer. I told them we would be praying for them during the summer recess.
Meeting to Wait
In June, twelve of us from various points in the province came together to wait on God. We began with John 10:3-10, the call of the watchman on the wall, to be awake and alert on the watch God appoints us to. He gives the authority to open the door. We are to lay down our goal oriented tasks, agendas and in submission pick up His heart. Together, we agreed to move forward only when He initiates.
As we waited on God, we began to anticipate the Saskatchewan House of Prayer as a baby on the heart of God, one that would be corporately birthed. We could feel His heartbeat pulsating, His Blood infusing ours and we were carried by Him. As we sense God’s heartbeat within us and when we hear His heartbeat corporately, we want to move in rhythm to His heart. The people of Saskatchewan are precious jewels and the Lord wants His peculiar treasure to reflect His presence.
The individual call is for each of us to be a house of prayer. He is wooing us into an intimate place where He can meet with us and give us His burden. As we become consumed with His desires, submitting to His purification, our hearts will be enlarged to contain more of Him. We will labour that Christ will be formed. As we carry His presence, He will move in power. The Lord made it very clear that it is His burden and as we’re yoked with Him to carry it, we labour from a place of rest.
