A call went out and people of Saskatchewan gathered in Saskatoon from numerous cities and towns to seek the heart of our Father. The weather was very cold and windy and prevented many from coming but the Lord showed up and led us in a way that impacted all of our hearts. The purpose of the Saskatchewan Provincial Gathering was to corporately worship the Lord, to seek His face and to listen and hear His plan for our province. We came laying down our burdens, agendas and desires and cried out for His desire. Watchmen for the Nations came to walk with us, to help us position ourselves and to take ownership of our land in which God has given us responsibility over. We so appreciate the leadership of David Demian as he and three others from other provinces came to be with us.The first night the Lord met us in a powerful way during the worship as we were desperately longing for a touch from the Lover of our soul. As the time went on, He wooed us to Himself with such tenderness and love that we felt safe to surrender and submit in a deeper way. In that place of intimacy the Lord touched and healed many hearts from past hurts, disappointments and shame. Because we came with no agenda, the Holy Spirit was free to take us wherever He chose and show us what was on His heart. On Friday evening we came face to face with the stronghold in our province that is holding us back from stepping into our full destiny. The Lord allowed this spirit to be exposed so we could all see very clearly what we are up against. David’s comments were “it has been a long time since I have been hit with a stronghold like this, it was like I was put in another zone”. Some of the ways this spirit manifests is: fear, discouragement, mindset of playing it safe and staying with the familiar, looking to another instead of to God for answers, holding back and not risking. For us to lay hold of God’s promises and claim our inheritance will involve risk, for that is the way the Lord teaches us to walk by faith. He releases His Word, which is most always contrary to the natural realm, and looks for a people that will believe Him no matter what they see, hear, feel or reason. A call went out for the army to arise, not in her own zeal, power and determination, but an army walking in brokenness and humility believing and following the Commander in Chief. There is no one person, ministry, church or denomination that has the authority to come against the ruling spirits over a territory and we as a group of 150 were not yet ready to take authority to deal with this principality. We do have the authority to rise above the fear and complacency in our own lives, and rise up we must if we are to take our place in this army. Many other things were released; such as the three generations walking together, the need for tenacity to lay hold of our inheritance, taking ownership of our province, being built up as living stones to create a habitation for the Glory of the Lord in Saskatchewan. The main point we believe the Lord wanted us to get was to lay down our personal agenda and come walk together so that Saskatchewan would become a habitation of the Lord. When a critical mass is reached, the Church will then have authority to deal with the strongholds on the provincial level. When this is accomplished, cities will be released, churches and ministries will be more fruitful, and the harvest will be reaped. We can continue walking as we always have with minimal results or we can shift our mindset: gathering with others in our province, walking in submission to one another, laying down our agendas, gifts and callings and corporately hearing and discerning the mind of the Lord. The region needs to be secured by One Body being led by One Head. Saskatchewan is what we are responsibile for and for what we will give account for.

We as a team of Saskatchewan House Of Prayer walk in the core values and model of Watchmen. We have communicated the vision of the church walking as one and owning the province. We believe there are people that have this burning desire for Saskatchewan and have been called to take their place on the wall to not keep silent night or day till the Lord establishes His dwelling place. We are not building a ministry but connecting people to pray together in the various gates by positioning ourselves to hear what God is saying and coming into agreement with Him. If we as the Church do not rule in the gates of the nobles, the enemy does what he wants. The Gathering in Saskatoon has built us up, encouraged and released us out with fresh fire to see Saskatchewan burn for His purposes.
