The Lord had spoken, “Watch the Riders. They are a sign to what I am doing in this province” and so our eyes were on the team all season. When Saskatchewan beat Winnipeg on Sunday, November 25th for the Grey Cup we moved out of the season of “hope deferred” to enter the “now” of all the past prophetic words that have been released over this province. I was amazed the past several weeks how the Lord spoke through the media surrounding the Roughriders. These are some of my favorite and most profound quotes:1) Before the Western final against the BC Lions the announcer on CBC said “Dominance faces Destiny”2) Regina Leader Post headline after the Grey Cup: “Destiny Leads the Riders”

3) Regina Leader Post Reporter Darren Zary: “The soul of the Rider Nation has been clearly resurrected”

4) Mike Abou-Mechred, Rider player writes before the final game: “It starts here at practice. It doesn’t start on Sunday.”

5) Ron Woods-Global TV stated: “Saskatchewan has finally kicked down a door they’ve been trying to kick down for years. They will not have to kick it down again.”

The shift has finally happened, “the door has been kicked down”, the window of opportunity has opened. We know God has raised up Saskatchewan House Of Prayer for such a time as this, a provincial body of believers to cover our land with prayer. It is time to position watchmen and intercessors at the various gates, to discern and hear the heart of God so we can come into agreement with Him and only declare and decree what He is saying. When the election was called we took ownership of the Government Gate and committed to pray, connect and agree together through conference calls weekly. We laid down all personal agendas and preferences and postured ourselves to hear what He was saying. We experienced tremendous results as many times what we released in prayer was what was printed in the newspaper the following day. Imagine if ownership was taken over every Gate and committed individuals took responsibility to allow in what the King of Glory wanted. There is safety as several gather to discern together, also power when prayer is released in agreement.

Please communicate to us which Gate you feel most led to man at this time. God will give you His heart to pray for the issues faced in each gate as you wait on Him. Conference calls will link team prayer from different parts in the province. The level of involvement is up to you, but like everything else you will benefit more as you pour more in. None of us feel confident or qualified, because we have not walked this way before. As we commit to walking together, we will learn and grow as we go. We would like to start manning the Gates in January, so we would appreciate hearing from you as soon as possible.
