- two to three people gathering weekly in homes;
- teams walking and praying the streets of their communities regularly;
- churches having a regular prayer time and declaring to be a house of prayer;
- individuals dedicating their homes to be a sanctuary of worship and prayer;
- and however the Spirit of the Lord in His creativity may lead.
I see a revival of prayer happening–an epidemic–an addiction to the presence of God, Saskatchewan being established as a habitation for the Glory of God. Is it possible? I am convinced of it. I have challenged myself that “it has to start with me”. I have been setting myself to seek the face of God as never before and I am being transformed. As I look back I can see that I did not carry what I needed to share and release the vision of Saskatchewan House of Prayer. I believed in it, was ready to share the vision day in and day out, and was ready to give my life for it. The difference now is that I am praying every available moment, and that is all I want to do. I am becoming a house of prayer. I want to and need to know the Lord like never before. I need to see Him and hear what He is saying today. What would this province look like if pockets of people were committed to seeking the Lord in this manner?
There has been a team meeting in Regina four to five times a week, crying out to God for our province and the Lord has put that flame within all of us. I believe there are many saints throughout this land that are waiting to be connected for the one purpose of “His Kingdom come His will be done” His way. I think every Christian would confess that is what they want, but wishing will not accomplish what consecrated, fervent prayer will do.
The strategy the Lord has given us is to build up existing prayer groups and encourage new ones to start all over the province. We are to be ones that come along side calling out people to take their place as gatekeepers, watchmen and intercessors. Encouraging saints to put the stake in the ground where God has placed them and claim their inheritance. Lifting up the arms that are weary and discouraged and declare they are not alone but part of a larger body scattered throughout the land. We know we’re called to connect, listen to their cry and release the sound of the Lord so all can hear and be encouraged to keep pressing in for breakthrough.
I believe the Lord has His ’set apart’ ones that are called to take their place in the prayer closet and on the wall, to tear down and to build up. In this hour we all need to know our calling and to take our place as prayer and working in the harvest field are both needed. Let us bless one another as we labour in His vineyard and together the work will be done.
Please pray as we go out throughout the province for doors to open and hearts to be aflame. Many are needed for the overall picture, we need to be connected.
Love you so much,
Patricia Fraser
